Welcome to the New Efitmi Lifestyle – A Community for Working Moms Like You

Hey, mama! 👋


I’m Shelleka, the founder of Efitmi Lifestyle, and I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself and this space I’ve built for all of you. When I first started Efitmi Lifestyle, it was a place where I could share my love for home décor and improvement—a creative outlet for me as a working mom who found joy in making my home a sanctuary.

But over time, I realized that we, as working moms, face so much more than just keeping a beautiful home. We’re managing our careers, raising kids, trying to find time for ourselves, all while balancing the ever-present challenges of finances, self-care, and maintaining our mental health.


I know this because I’m right there with you. I’ve experienced the same exhaustion, the same moments of feeling like there’s never enough time for it all. I understand how overwhelming it can be to juggle work, family, and home, while still trying to hold on to a piece of yourself. This is the reason I am happy to introduce the New Efitmi Lifestyle!


Expanding the Mission: The New Efitmi Lifestyle

That’s why I’m excited to tell you that Efitmi Lifestyle is evolving. It’s no longer just a blog about home décor and DIY tips (although we’ll still have plenty of that!). Now, it’s becoming a wholesome space for working moms—a community that covers all the areas that impact us daily, like:

  • Self-care: Because taking time for ourselves isn’t selfish—it’s essential.

  • Finances: From managing budgets to side hustles that help us thrive, financial wellness is key.

  • Home management: Not just making it beautiful, but making it functional and stress-free.

  • Work-life balance: Finding ways to make it all work, without losing ourselves in the process.


I’ve come to realize that we need more than tips on decorating our homes; we need tools, resources, and support to help us navigate all aspects of our lives. And most importantly, we need a community of women who understand what it’s like—who are also balancing the beautiful chaos of being a working mom.
