I Quit My Job After 11 Years | Starting a New Chapter

I finally did it. I quit my job.

It still feels strange to type those words.

For the past 11 years, my life followed a rhythm that many of you might recognize. Alarm clocks before sunrise. Long days solving problems, coaching people, chasing targets, managing expectations, and trying to do it all well. The call center industry taught me a lot about people, pressure, communication, and resilience. It also shaped me into the professional I am today. But yesterday, that chapter officially closed.

I handed in my resignation after more than a decade in the call center industry, and today is my first day being unemployed by choice.

That sentence carries a strange mix of emotions.

Relief.

Excitement.

A little fear.

And a lot of curiosity.

If I'm being honest, I don't have everything figured out yet. I know that's not the typical story people like to tell online. Usually, when someone announces that they've left their job, they follow it with a perfectly mapped-out plan, a thriving business, or a big reveal about what's next.

That's not my story.

At least not yet.

What I do know is that for a long time I've felt a pull toward something different. Toward building something of my own. Toward creating work that fits the life I want for my family, instead of constantly trying to fit my life around work.

So I made the decision.

Not because it felt safe.

But because it felt necessary.

For years, I've talked about helping women, especially working moms, build lives that feel more intentional. Lives where they can earn, grow, and still be present for the people they love. Somewhere along the way, I realized something uncomfortable.

I was teaching courage while quietly postponing my own.

So this step is not just a career change. It's an alignment.

Right now, I’m entering a season of exploration. I’ll be testing ideas, building projects, creating content, and documenting the journey along the way. Some things will work. Some things probably won’t. But the goal is simple: to build a life and business that feels meaningful, sustainable, and rooted in purpose.

And I’ve decided to share the process in real time.

Not the polished version.

The real version.

The experiments.

The lessons.

The moments of doubt.

The small wins that feel bigger than they probably should.

If you’ve ever wondered what happens after someone takes a leap like this, you’re about to find out with me. Over the next few weeks and months, I’ll be sharing updates about what I’m building, what I’m learning, and how this next chapter unfolds.

So if you’ve been following my journey for a while, thank you for being here.

And if you’re new, welcome.

Either way, stay tuned.

I’m just getting started.
